Terms of Service
These terms are LaunchSphere’s Supplier Agreement. Paid purchases are also subject to Polar’s Checkout Buyer Terms. Polar is the seller; LaunchSphere licenses the product.
Last updated 6 September 2026. Draft pending counsel review of entity name, registered address, and governing law. It is the Supplier Agreement we intend to apply to Polar checkout.
1. Parties and acceptance
LaunchSphere is the prompt enhancer and prompt library at launch-sphere.com, app.launch-sphere.com, and docs.launch-sphere.com (the “Service”). The Polar organization name is “Launch Sphere”.
You accept these terms by using the Service, creating an account, starting the guest trial, or completing a paid checkout. You must be at least 18 and not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law or Polar’s acceptable use policy.
Paid checkouts also form a contract between you and Polar Software, Inc. under the Polar Checkout Buyer Terms. Those terms govern payment, tax, invoices, Polar refunds, and the Polar customer portal. These terms govern your licence to use LaunchSphere.
2. Polar as merchant of record
Polar Software, Inc. is the merchant of record and authorized reseller. You buy paid plans from Polar. LaunchSphere licenses the software. Polar invoices you, collects and remits VAT/GST/sales tax, issues receipts, vaults payment methods, and provides first-tier billing support (refunds Polar chooses to issue, chargebacks, cancellations, payment-method updates).
Card statements and invoices show Polar, not LaunchSphere. LaunchSphere does not invoice you, does not collect tax, and does not store card numbers. Billing questions: Polar Customer Portal, Polar support, or contact@launch-sphere.com (we escalate payment issues to Polar). Product questions: contact@launch-sphere.com only.
3. The service
LaunchSphere provides a prompt enhancer (enhance, improve, and generate modes; optional targeting for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or a generic shape) and a library for saving and reusing prompts. The licence is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and for your internal use.
Image generation, agent workflows, and Prompt Coach are not part of the production Service. Features described as coming are not current entitlements.
4. Plans, credits, and fair use
Guests may run 3 enhancements per trial session. A free account includes 25 enhancements per month and an uncapped library. Pro is $7/month or $70/year and includes 1000 enhancements per month on a fair-use cap — not unlimited. Teams is $9.50/seat/month with a 3-seat minimum; each seat inherits the Pro fair-use cap.
One credit is one completed enhancement. Failed or cancelled streams are not charged. Unused quota does not roll over. We may change limits with notice and may throttle abuse. Polar products are flat or seat-based; we do not bill you per token.
5. Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation
Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance. They renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel in the Polar Customer Portal (Manage subscription in the app). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period unless Polar revokes access earlier (for example after a refund or ToS breach). Failed payment: Polar may retry, suspend, then cancel.
Price changes are notified in advance. Where law requires affirmative consent, Polar’s checkout and notices control the payment side.
6. Taxes and invoices
List prices are in US dollars. Applicable tax is calculated and collected by Polar at checkout from your billing address. Invoices and receipts come from Polar. Add a company name or VAT number in the Polar Customer Portal. Polar’s EU OSS VAT number is Polar’s, not LaunchSphere’s. LaunchSphere remains responsible for its own income tax on payouts.
7. Refunds
Our commercial promise is a 30-day money-back window on the first paid term if the account is in good standing. The Refund Policy is the full statement. Polar may also refund under Polar’s own rules, including to prevent chargebacks. Cancel is not a refund. Statutory rights survive.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service for illegal content, malware, scraping, quota circumvention, account resale, child sexual abuse material, deepfakes of real people, or generation intended to infringe others’ IP. We may suspend or close accounts. This section is meant to keep the Service inside Polar’s Acceptable Use Policy. Polar can offboard LaunchSphere for AUP breach.
Outputs are user-directed. You are responsible for what you submit and how you use the result.
9. Your content
You own your prompts and saved library items. You grant LaunchSphere a limited licence to host, process, display them back to you, and send them to model providers solely to provide the Service. We do not sell your prompts. You warrant you have the rights to the input.
Usage and analytics events (which may include the original prompt) are purged after about six months. The library is not on that timer; it lasts until you delete an item or we close the account. Guest trials do not create a durable library.
10. AI output
Outputs are machine-generated. They may be wrong, biased, or infringing. They are not legal, medical, or financial advice. Review them before you use them. We do not warrant that a prompt will work on ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, or that any model will stay available. Guest and free traffic uses OpenRouter; paid traffic uses Vercel AI Gateway. Those providers have their own terms.
11. Availability
The Service is provided as is, without an uptime SLA. We may modify or discontinue features. If a paid Product is unavailable for a material period, we will keep access through the paid period or work with Polar on a pro-rata refund. “Priority support” on Pro means we aim to answer email; it is not a response-time SLA.
12. Suspension, liability, and changes
We may suspend for acceptable-use breach, non-payment, Polar or network-rule demand, or risk. To the extent permitted by law, the Service is without warranties, and LaunchSphere’s liability for a claim is capped at the fees you paid to Polar for LaunchSphere in the twelve months before the claim. That cap does not limit Polar’s liability under Polar’s terms, or liability that cannot be excluded (fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or non-waivable consumer rights).
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here and, where we have an email, notified. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service and cancel in the Polar portal.
13. Governing law and order of precedence
Product disputes with LaunchSphere are governed by the laws applicable to the LaunchSphere operator, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country. Polar Buyer Terms (Delaware, Polar’s dispute process) govern the purchase. We do not copy Polar’s arbitration clause into this agreement.
These terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy are the Supplier Agreement. For paid purchases, Polar Buyer Terms control payment, tax, invoices, and Polar refunds. If they conflict: Polar wins on payment; LaunchSphere wins on licence, acceptable use, and content.
